Restorative yoga uses long-held, supported resting poses to create the conditions for us to cultivate the skill for conscious relaxation, and most importantly to release unnecessary tension in the body and mind. In this class, the body is completely supported with props like blocks, blankets, and pillows, thus creating a muscular experience in the body while also nurturing and soothing your nervous system.
